John attended the prestigious Potomac Massage Training Institute located in Washington, D.C. from 1997 - 1999. (The Harvard of east coast
massage schools) He graduated in February 1999 with training in Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and the practical application of massage an
bodywork. He is state licensed in Maryland, and nationally certified in massage. John has been practicing massage in Anne Arundel county since
2002. He has worked in conjunction with chiropractors, acupuncturists and other wellness providers to help provide clients with the optimum
opportunity to heal. Previously John held his massage practice in Crofton, at Chesapeake Acupuncture and Healing Center. John feels massage
and bodywork are finally getting their due as an important part of a total wellness program, and not just for the affluent. If you eat right, exercise and
generally try to take good care of yourself - give your body what it really wants. A massage!
" John is one of the best massage therapists I have ever met. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone that is serious about massage.
R. Petitbon, Local Business Owner
"One of the things that makes John a great massage therapist is that he listens to your concerns and he asks really great questions. He
really tries to zero in on any problem areas with your body."
J. Firmani
" I enthusiastically recommend John Wood, and have already done so to friends and family. He knows more massage techniques than
most massage therapists I have tried and readily adapts them to your particular circumstances to help your body feel worlds better."
Rev. E. McLean
" I would strongly recommend Mr. Wood to all my friends and family without hesitation as I am certain they would benefit from his expert
work as much as I have."
